MUSIC THEORY
Preparation for Grade Exams, GCSE, and A-levels all require a solid understanding of music theory. We use numerous examples from great music to illustrate the importance and practical application of various rules. You will delve into rhythm, notation, tonality, harmony, and the instruments of the orchestra, gaining a comprehensive understanding of these captivating elements of music theory. Our goal is to enhance your enjoyment and appreciation of music to a new level.
MUSIC COMPOSITION
During this course, you will unleash your creativity by learning composition techniques from the greatest masters, analyzing their work under the guidance of your tutor. Simultaneously, you will apply these techniques to your own compositions. Whether you become a music composer or not, you will greatly benefit from this course in any future profession by developing skills in idea generation, balance, decision-making, and, most importantly, creativity.
